The Alliance to Save Energy (ASE), a non-profit organization that advocates energy-efficiency policies, was given a grant opportunity to expand the reach of its public service announcement campaign in New York state—provided that they use alternative media to complement the TV and radio public service announcements previously distributed.
To repurpose ASE’s investment as cost effectively as possible, TV Access used a still frame from an existing, animated television public service announcement to create an airport PSA and secure placement. This public service ad was distributed to airports to reach travelers in New York’s busy airports, including business travelers and corporate decision makers.
The Alliance to Save Energy was thrilled. Not only did we assist the organization in taking advantage of an opportunity, but accomplished this at a very marginal cost. In fact, this airport diorama has been running in New York’s La Guardia, JFK, and Newark Liberty airports for over three years.
