Transit Case Study PSA Campaign – The Peace Corps

A Division of Filmcomm Inc.

The Peace Corps wanted to not only recruit more French-speaking volunteers, but also attract volunteers with agricultural experience. The Peace Corps regularly distributes public service announcements with TV Access and called upon them again for this campaign.
Since the campaign was targeting a specific student profile, there were huge implications for its distribution strategy. Reaching students is not like reaching most audiences. Television and radio PSAs would not be effective since many college students do not own televisions and even fewer own cars.  Therefore, an out-of-home (OOH) campaign was the clear solution, and TV Access distributed PSAs to bus shelters near universities with agricultural programs.
Through “outside-of-the-box” thinking, TV Access was able to reach an extremely unique audience—effectively. It is this level of creativity that makes TV Access the leader in public service announcement distribution.
